Are You Prepped and Ready for the National Meeting?
BT Staff
Dr. Cliff Johnson - The arrangements are made, and your BMA national departments and agencies are putting last-minute touches on their reports to give you all the information you desire and the victories and accomplishments for the kingdom in the last seven months. Add to that the numerous other BMA-driven ministries. In other words, we are preparing for you!
Now the question becomes, “Are you preparing for the meeting?” One of the best ways you can prepare for the meeting is to go to bmaamerica.org/2022-department-video-reports to see video reports from our department leaders. These videos allow you the opportunity to see and hear extended reports from our departments, giving you more information than you would otherwise receive at the national meeting itself. Don’t let the Wednesday morning session be the first time you hear from your department leaders. Rather, take advantage of this opportunity to become acquainted with all that your BMA ministries have accomplished in 2021.
In addition to watching the video, here are other ways you can prepare for our national meeting:
• Make sure you have made hotel reservations. Visit bmaamerica.org/2022-hotel-reservations to do so today. (You can also find all informatoin related to the national meeting at BaptistTrumpet.com/BMAA2022.)
• Call or text your pastor friends to make sure they will be coming with you, even arranging to travel together. I think we can all agree that one of the best parts of the national meeting is getting together with long-time pastor friends and making new friendships with other brothers and sisters.
• Pray for the unity of our association. It seems we live in the most hostile and divided time I have ever seen, but the one place where there should be unity is within the church and within the churches of the BMA.
• Pray that you will have a heart ready to worship the Lord and receive His Word during our worship services and breakout sessions.
Once again, it is my great honor to serve the churches of the BMA, and I look forward to having a great time of celebration with you in just a few weeks.
