Arkansas GMA Officers Meet
BT Staff
The newly elected 2023-24 State GMA Officers and Counselors met at the home of Peggy Lee in Magnolia on July 15-16. They spent Saturday planning the programs for the upcoming year, and also enjoyed some down time to get to know each other, swimming and eating the delicious meals Louise Johnson had prepared for them.
The officers planned the weekend so they could attend College View Baptist Church on Sunday morning. Louise Johnson also spoke as the new Arkansas State GMA Promoter. The church was very blessed to have them all present. Before they headed home, Paul Bullock, pastor of College View, and his wife, Liz hosted the group for a delicious lunch at their home.
“Library of Legacies” is the year’s theme, and their project goal is ChangeMakers in the Ukraine.
Those who attended were: Louise Johnson, Assistant State Promoter Loren Rust, Counselor Erin Wesbecher, 2nd Vice-President Rylee Johnson, President Callie Wesbecher, Alternate State Jr. Miss Averie Allen, State Historian Ryanne Rowland and Arkansas Jr. Miss GMA Jordyn Wesbecher.
