BMA Disaster Relief Needs Help

BT Staff

BMA Disaster Relief partners with Just the Crumbs to serve hot meals to people during a disaster. Just the Crumbs is currently set up in four North Carolina locations and will be expanding to a fifth location as soon as we find a way to cook. There are two ways you can get involved:

         • Go — Teams have been on the ground for several weeks. We are scheduling teams to go and serve. Right now, Just the Crumbs is serving around 5,000 people every day. They also just started helping with clean up, rebuilding and clearing out trees. We need volunteers! Can your church serve for one week in North Carolina? We need cooks, servers and workers! If you are willing to serve, as a group from your church or as an individual, please contact Angela Rice at (214) 498-3041 or angela@bmaglobal.org.

         • Give — The situation in North Carolina is devastating. Many roads are washed out, making traveling in the mountains very difficult. Many people are running out of food. We can help! We will be collecting food at BMA Global, 611 Locust Street in Conway, until Oct. 31. Please drop-off donations during regular business hours. Or, go to tiny.cc/BMADisasterReliefSupplies (Note: This link is case-sensitive) to purchase needed items and send them directly to the BMA Global Center in Conway for distribution.
