Breakfast to Honor BMA of Arkansas Pastors
BT Staff
by Duffy Guyton, Director of Church Relations - Central Baptist College
The military salute is a display of honor and respect to the ones who lead. This salute speaks volumes to the person administering the salute and to the one who is receiving the salute. Similarly, the Lord desires that His shepherds receive authentic respect and honor from His church.
In I Thess. 5:12-13 (ESV), the Apostle Paul encourages the church in Thessalonica to live in a way that His ministers receive genuine and authentic respect: “we ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work…”
Central Baptist College is honored again to host the BMA of Arkansas Annual Session scheduled for Nov. 3-4. It is our pleasure to welcome the pastors and messengers of the BMA of Arkansas to the CBC campus. To demonstrate a biblical salute and to show our love for you and your family, we are hosting a free Pastor’s Breakfast on Friday, Nov. 4 starting at 7:30 a.m. in the Community Room of the Mabee Student Services Complex.
We are thankful for shepherds who faithfully serve His church through preaching His Word, caring for His church and loving the lost by proclaiming the true gospel. We are grateful that God places godly shepherds in our lives to assist His people in biblically steering through all life’s hazards, unfamiliar turns and unclear paths. We love and appreciate everyone who is part of the BMA of Arkansas and look forward to seeing you on campus during the state meeting.
