• Nevada, Mo., Dec. 5 — Playing an American Midwest Conference (AMC) road game for the first time this season, CBC was at Hinkhouse Gymnasium for a matchup with the Cottey Comets. CBC (3-4, 1-2 AMC) led after the first three quarters but were outscored 21-7 in the fourth, falling to Cottey (7-2, 3-0 AMC) 60-49. Riley Whittington and Raigan Head were leading scorers for CBC, with 11 each. CBC did make 10 threes and were plus 9 on the glass, but a 9-minute scoring drought at the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarter made the difference in the game.
