JOURNEY WITH JEFF: A Sad Blessing
Jeff Herring
We were saddened to learn recently that Big Creek Valley Baptist Church in Jonesboro made the difficult decision to disband. In doing so, the church blessed the Trumpet with a generous $5,000 offering. This was a much-needed blessing for our general fund at a time when extra expenses had brought it down below our normal operating threshold. We are thankful for the legacy of this church as they made the decision to pay it forward with the timely offering that helps to keep this ministry moving forward.
Special Emphasis Update
I am thankful to the churches that invited me to come and share about the ministry of the Trumpet during our time of Special Emphasis. I was blessed to be with First Baptist Church in Waldo and Eastside Baptist Church in Conway. I am also thankful for the many others who have given to help us meet our goal.
