I hope you all had a great Christmas! Here are a few updates to close out 2022!
Ministry Update — The past couple of months have been a busy, but rewarding time! I was blessed to start off October with a trip to Dallas to help Living Word Arabic Church by putting on a “teen camp” during their annual conference. It was such a great time of fellowship and I hope I’ll be able to visit them again soon!
I also had the chance to share my testimony and my ministry plan with several churches and groups over the past couple of months. First, I shared a devotional with the Mississippi WMA, where I also got to fellowship with some amazing missions mentors. Then my mom and I got to go on a trip to Canton, Texas for me to speak at Old Bethel Baptist Church. I also had the chance to share my heart with the Arkansas WMA and Springhill Baptist Church Youth Group.
Speaking to the Springhill youth group was a special experience for me since my youth group played a huge part in my ability to discern my call to missions! It was so exciting for me to be able to introduce Unreached People Groups and how to pray for them.
Family Time — I am soaking up all the time with family I can get before moving to a foreign country in August. Spending time carving pumpkins on Halloween, sightseeing in Nashville, helping cook on Thanksgiving and devotionals on Christmas are just a few things I’ve been fortunate enough to do over the past few months.
I took my grandma to Nashville to see my favorite, Chris Renzema. We also saw one of her favorites, Dailey and Vincent, at the Grand Ole Opry!
2023 is the year — August 2023 is when I leave for my missions training program! That’s just a little under eight months from now! I will continue to raise support over the next several months with a focus on gaining monthly supporters. Monthly supporters will be helpful while I am at missions training, but they will become essential when I move to the long-term field. These supporters will allow me to live and do ministry for a longer period of time. Please be in prayer that God will lead me to these willing churches and individuals that will be my monthly financial “senders.”
Prayer Requests & Praises
• For me as I continue to raise support and reach out to churches and individuals.
• For my health as I continue to prepare for the physical demands of the mission field. Praise God that I have found a great nutritionist, meal prep service and, as of today, a 5:30 a.m. gym partner!
• For my missions training program classmates. Pray for those I will be spending the next year with and those who may become teammates.
