SPOTLIGHT ON MISSIONS: Joshua & Meagan Phiri • Zambia

BT Staff

I wanted to share an exciting update with you, especially because of your heart for missions and making a difference in the world. Whether you’ve been following our ministry for some time or are hearing about it for the first time, I believe you’ll connect with what God is doing here.

Here in Zambia, we’ve been blessed beyond measure. Can you imagine waking up to the warmth of the African sun stretching across five acres of land that God has provided for us? It’s the kind of peaceful, breathtaking beauty that reminds me daily of His faithfulness. Yet, more than the landscape, the people — families, children, local leaders — bring life to this place. And this is where I feel called to plant deeper roots.

Perhaps you’ve supported missions before or are passionate about reaching people in remote places. If so, you understand how vital it is to be present — to walk alongside those you’re ministering to, day in and day out. That’s why we’re working to build a home right here in the village, so we can live among the people we’re serving. Being here full-time will allow us to disciple more effectively, reach neighboring villages, and build a stronger community of believers.

We’re already making great progress — our home is 35% funded — but a journey is still ahead. And this is where I’d love for you to consider partnering with us. Beyond building our home, we have a bigger vision — to use the five acres of land God has provided to build a team house and a training center for discipleship and leadership development. These facilities will be places where visiting missionaries, like you or others you know, can come, stay and immerse themselves in the ministry. It will also be a space where local leaders are equipped to take the gospel further into unreached areas.

Maybe you’re curious about how you can get involved right now. You might have experienced a gentle push to make a lasting difference, or you’ve previously backed similar endeavors.

Here’s how you can partner with us:

         • Donate Financially — Every brick, every beam and every resource will build more than a house — it will build opportunities for the gospel to spread far and wide. If you feel led, would you consider making a financial gift? You can donate securely online at tiny.cc/ZambiaPhiri or send a contribution by mail to BMA Global - ChangeMaker and write on the memo line; For Joshua Phiri for building project and mail the check to P.O. Box 878, Conway, AR 72033. No gift is too small; every dollar moves us closer to making this dream a reality.

         • Prayer Support — Even if giving isn’t possible right now, your prayers are just as critical. Pray for God’s provision, for the local believers being discipled, and for the gospel to take root in the hearts of those who have yet to hear it. Prayer moves mountains, and we covet your spiritual support in this journey.

         • Share Our Mission — Maybe you know others who would be excited to hear about this work. Whether it’s your church, a friend, or a family member, we’d be grateful if you would share our story. We believe God is touching hearts, and you can help widen our circle of support by spreading the word.

To help you feel more connected to what’s happening on the ground, we’ve been posting regular updates on our YouTube channel. You’ll see how this project is progressing — brick by brick, prayer by prayer — and how lives are being touched. I’d love for you to check it out and see firsthand the transformation happening here.

I want to thank you for your heart for God’s work. Whether you feel called to support us financially, through prayer or by sharing our story, your involvement will help build something that will change lives for generations. Together, we can bring this vision to life, creating a space where disciples are made and leaders are raised to continue spreading God’s love to the ends of the earth. Thank you for standing with us.

I look forward to what we can accomplish together in His name.
