Wife of BMA Pastor Dies

Helen Ann (Howell) McDaniel, 87 of Corsicana, Texas passed away on March 6. After high school, she married the late Travis Austin Steadman, who pastored churches in Texas. After he passed away, she married the late Jack McDaniel, who pastored Farley Street Baptist Church (now Pathway Baptist Church) in Waxahachie for 22 years as well as other churches in Texas.

She is survived by: a sister, Marie (Tiny) Herring; two sons, Terry (Kim) Steadman and Tim (Kim) Steadman; stepchildren, Jan Ward and Kenny McDaniel; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held March 13 at Pathway Baptist Church, with interment at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton, Texas. Arrangements were by Wayne Boze Funeral Home (waynebozefuneralhome.com).
