2022 Student Orientation Staff Announced

Central Baptist College is pleased to announce the 2022 Student Orientation Staff (SOS), a group of upperclassmen students whose primary role is to help new students feel welcome at CBC. SOS team members are selected based on maturity, work ethic, friendliness and value-driven leadership. New students entering CBC are faced with numerous questions related to registration, housing, financial concerns, personal identity, academic survival and other challenges related to starting a new chapter on their own. Each SOS member plays a vital role in helping answer these questions and navigating college life.

SOS is led by Student Activities Coordinator Blake Pittman. Under Pittman’s leadership, SOS members are empowered to plan and implement activities to help new students become a part of the CBC family.

This year’s Senior Team Leader is Autumn Herring, a senior from Maumelle. The Senior Team Leader serves to help coordinate SOS trainings, support Team Leaders and oversee and encourage SOS members.
