CBC is excited to announce two new initiatives in their Bible and Bible-related majors. First, beginning in Fall 2023, a tuition discount of 50% will be offered in major classes for any full-time student majoring in Bible or a Bible-related major who indicates a desire to be employed in the field of ministry after graduation. This grant applies to students in both Traditional and PACE classes and is an effort to increase the number of individuals entering the field of ministry.
Additionally, the CBC Bible faculty have developed several “Co-Vocational” majors that will be available to students in Bible and Bible-related majors beginning Fall 2023. The majors will allow students to attain two bachelor’s degrees in an accelerated format as a nod to the current trend of ministerial workers attaining two degrees — one vocational and the other pastoral or ministerial. For example, we have combined Bible and Marketing, Bible and Psychology and Counseling, Missions and Marketing, Leadership in Ministry and History — and these are just a few examples. This allows ministry-intended students a chance to lower their cost and time investment while accelerating their learning format and finishing both degrees more quickly and inexpensively than the alternative. Both new programs are an effort to be more attractive to individuals who are considering the ministry and to try to grow the kingdom with new workers in every field!
