CBC PROFILE: CBC Day Update and Invitation To Appreciation Breakfast
Your faithfulness and commitment to your college is extremely humbling. Your constant trust, love and support is inspirational and encouraging to all. We are thankful to all the churches who participated in our special emphasis, CBC Day, which launched on Sept. 10. CBC Day contributions go to the CBC Annual Fund that supports, among other things, the ministry grant, academic and performance scholarships, spiritual life programs and the development of new academic majors. If that day did not accommodate your church’s schedule, please set aside any Sunday or mid-week service to dedicate to a time of prayer for the students, future students, alumni, faculty, staff and administration.
Central Baptist College is honored again to host the BMA of Arkansas Annual Session, which will take place Nov. 2-3. It is our great pleasure to welcome the pastors and messengers of the BMA of Arkansas to the CBC campus. To demonstrate our gratefulness for you and your family, we are hosting a free appreciation breakfast on Friday, Nov. 3, starting at 7:30 a.m. in the Community Room in the Mabee Student Services Complex. If you would like to attend the appreciation breakfast, please RSVP by contacting Director of Church Relations Duffy Guyton at (501) 269-6784 or dguyton@cbc.edu.
We are indebted to our great churches of the BMA of Ark., and our heart’s cry is indicative of the Apostle Paul’s encouragement to the church in Philippi regarding the love and care they demonstrated to him, and “for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.”
