CBC PROFILE: Chism Joins the Pace Enrollment Team
The Admissions Team and PACE Program welcome Chase Chism as the new pace enrollment coordinator at Central Baptist College. As a recent alum of the school (‘23), Chase is excited to enter the role and help adult and online learners earn their college degree. Chase earned his BS in Human Resource Management from CBC. He is married to Courtney Chism, and they have three children — Aidan, Maddox and Derek. He is a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Conway.
Since graduating from CBC, God has gracefully put him in a position where he can share with others the best-kept hidden secret — the PACE program at CBC. “There are so many people who would love to start or finish their degree but feel as if they do not have the time to do so. Well, let me tell you; I worked in full-time ministry with two boys who played basketball, football and baseball. It seemed as if we never slowed down. The way the PACE program is set up is perfect for busy adults with full-time responsibilities. You receive a high-quality education but never get overloaded or weighed down. The instructors and I will do everything we can to usher students through until graduation. Our goal is to see adults complete their education while being surrounded by Christ-like students and staff. So, I encourage anyone who is interested to reach out to me.”
Working adults looking for a convenient and flexible college option have another opportunity to enroll in the second five-week course of the fall semester. Classes are offered in-class, online or in a hybrid option. The deadline for new student applications for the third enrollment period of the fall semester is Friday, Aug. 7.
With eight enrollment periods per year and five-week courses, students always have an opportunity to get started. Be sure and take advantage of our first-class free option, which is an automatic scholarship that covers the PACE Orientation class. Ministry Tuition Grants and Veterans Tuition Grants are also available to those who qualify.
The enrollment process begins with one of our Personal Enrollment Coordinator. For more details, visit cbc.edu/apply or contact Chase at cchism@cbc.edu or (501) 205-8940.
