CBC PROFILE: PACE New Student Grant
Are you busy during the day, but always wanted to start a college degree or finish the one you’ve already started? We have great news! Central Baptist College’s PACE program has a $1,470 grant opportunity for new students! Classes are only five weeks long, meet one night per week and are offered in-class, online or as a hybrid option. Register by April 25for Block 4 classes, or by July 3 for Block 1 classes next fall and the grant will cover tuition for your first required PACE Orientation course.
Our CBC Admissions team will work with you to take advantage of other grant opportunities as well: $500 BMAA Grant (for students who attend a BMAA church), Ministry Tuition Grant, Student Referral Grant, Arkansas Academic Challenge Grant or Veterans Tuition Grant. The process begins by applying online at online.cbc.edu. If you have questions, contact the Admissions Office at pace@cbc.edu or by calling (501) 205-8938.
Fall 2023 Registration and Connect Days
Advance registration for the Fall 2023 semester will remain open through April 28 for Summer and Fall 2023 classes — register early to get the classes you need! Final exams for the 2022-2023 academic year will be May 1-4 and graduation is scheduled for Saturday, May 6. The first summer session classes begin Monday, May 22, and fall semester classes will begin on Thursday, Aug. 17.
Central Baptist College hosts on-campus student orientation and registration events — Connect Days — all through the summer to help traditional students get plugged in and registered for a successful fall semester! Connect Days are not only important — they are also a blast! New students who have all their documents submitted for registration will be contacted for one of our upcoming dates this summer: April 25, May 16, June 13, July 11, July 25 and Aug. 1. To learn more about Connect Days, visit cbc.edu/orientation. High school seniors should visit cbc.edu/apply to start the application process. Admissions Outreach
CBC is reaching out to new populations, and we need your help! We are making an intentional effort to be more involved with and supportive of the home educators’ movement in Arkansas and surrounding states. If you are involved in a home-schooling association or group and would like to discuss ways CBC can be involved with concurrent credit, meeting spaces or other needs we can support you with, we would love to speak with you.
CBC is implementing a robust new U.S. Territories Stipend beginning Fall 2023 to encourage students from U.S. Territories to consider coming to the United States for a Christian education. If you would like more information about either of these new programs, please reach out to the Vice-President for Enrollment Management at bwalthall@cbc.edu or call (501) 205-8815.
