CBC SPORTS UPDATE: January 12, 2022

Softball

         • Conway, Jan. 3 — Central Baptist College head softball coach Keith Hinson has announced a second signee to his 2022-23 recruiting class — Olivia Pickard.

Men’s Basketball

         • Conway, Jan. 8 — Looking to begin American Midwest Conference (AMC) play 3-0, CBC hosted the Eutectics of the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP) in St. Louis at AR Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (7-8, 3-0 AMC) never trailed, cruising to an 82-45 win over UHSP (5-9, 1-3 AMC).

Women’s Basketball

         • Conway, Jan. 8 — Playing at home for the first time since Dec. 13, CBC hosted the Eutectics of the UHSP in St. Louis at AR Reddin Fieldhouse in an AMC battle. CBC (9-4, 2-2 AMC) could not get enough baskets to fall, as they trailed by 9 at the half before falling 63-58 to UHSP (10-6, 2-2 AMC).
