JOURNEY WITH JEFF: Have You Seen Our New Video?
We recently partnered with BMA Productions to produce a video to share about the ministry of the Baptist Trumpet and how important it is to keep church members connected with the mission. You can find the video and more information about why we are raising funds during our time of Special Emphasis by visiting BaptistTrumpet.com/SE2025. If possible, please share it with your church or small group and encourage those who have not already subscribed to do so.
With this issue, we are wrapping up the designated time (March and April) for our Special Emphasis assigned by the state association to raise necessary funds beyond our normal operating expenses. Remember, our goal is to cover our regular production and post-production costs using the monthly support we receive from churches and individuals and our income from subscription fees. When we encounter extra or unplanned expenses, we aim to raise the funds needed to address these during our Special Emphasis period. This year, we have set a goal of $30,000 to cover the additional salary expense of hiring and training a new staff member, as Associate Editor Allan Eakin transitions to a full-time role as pastor, and to accommodate the extra operating costs of transitioning to a 12-page paper each week. Even though we are wrapping up the time when we actively promote our Special Emphasis, we will continue to count offerings toward our goal that come in before the end of our fiscal year (Aug. 31). I will continue to keep you updated about our progress as more funds come in.
Thanks to each church and individual who has already given this year. Here are the latest receipts since the last report:
