Just The Crumbs Project Update

In August, Brister Baptist Church announced a project to raise the funds necessary to purchase a new 45,000-watt diesel generator to help meet the needs of the Just the Crumbs disaster relief ministry. (see the Aug. 9 Trumpet) The original amount needed was $35,000, but in September the price increased to $42,000. (see the Sept. 13 Trumpet)

The generator fundraising project is in the home stretch, and we are within $9,000 of meeting our goal for the new generator. With every deployment, the problems with the existing generators seem to multiply. We have stepped out on faith and ordered the generator to avoid another $7,000 price increase. Delivery should be in about 30 days. We are praying to have the remaining funds by then.

Please do what you can to help. Make checks out to Brister Baptist Church, with the memo “Generator” and mail them to 3711 Hwy. 79 South, Emerson, Ark. 71740. Any extra funds received will be forwarded to the Just the Crumbs ministry.
