Blake Martin has resigned as pastor of worship and students at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Plumerville to accept the pastorate of Old Hickory Baptist Church in Hattieville beginning Jan. 2. Johnny Hoffman will continue to serve during the transition period until his retirement is official on Dec. 26.
Sonny Harvison, after 51 years of ministry, has announced his retirement from the ministry effective Jan. 1. He currently serves as pastor of Calvary Baptist in Morrilton, where he has served for 19 years — 5 years as worship and student pastor and the past 14 as senior pastor. He and his wife, Susie plan to remain at their home in Morrilton.
