PERSONALITY PROFILE: Bryan Clay

Name: Bryan Clay

Address: 137 Silver Springs Drive, Benton, Ark. 72015

Email: mr.bryanclay@gmail.com

Mission field I’ll be serving in: We are still looking, but probably between Benton and Hot Springs.

Primarily, my ministry will include preaching the gospel, discipleship groups for all ages and serving the community.

My wife’s maiden name is Kelley McElroy.

My favorite worship song/hymn is “Glorious Day” by Casting Crowns.

My favorite subject in school was Science.

The best advice I ever received was: It is important to realize how short life is so we don’t squander the time we’ve been given.

Guests at my “fantasy dinner” would be Moses and Joshua.

My favorite book (other than the Bible) is Victorious Christian Living.

My hobbies are: Hunting, fishing and family cruises

I would love to visit Yellow Stone National Park.

My “pet peeve” is Double dipping your chip in the cheese dip.

My most embarrassing moment was getting buck fever and letting a huge buck get away.

The Bible character I most identify with is Barnabas because he was a man of the church, full of faith and courage.

The best thing about my ministry is it mirrors Christ’s life. He came to be a blessing for all people.

The worst thing about my ministry is I am getting a late start in life in my church planting ministry, but God told me He’s been preparing me for it my whole life, so I feel I’m in pretty good hands.

The greatest need in this ministry is to preach the gospel and love the people.

Something most people don’t know about me is I love my quiet times with God while enjoying the outdoors.

I want my children to remember that I love them with all my heart and I am so proud of them.

I’d give anything to have met King David.

I have always wanted to do the work of the ministry full time. I didn’t think this would be possible until I retired. I thank God for giving me this opportunity.

I’d like for my epitaph to read: “He loved the Lord with all his heart. He loved his wife and family with all his heart and tried to do his best for them.”

Other comments: If I could have one personal wish come true, it would be to hear God say, “Well done my good and faithful servant.”
