Did you know that the vast majority of church planting around the world is being led by local leaders rather than American missionaries? BMA Global currently partners with over 400 individuals worldwide in this mission. Astonishingly, fewer than 50 of these partners are American missionaries. The rest are ChangeMakers — men and women who were often reached, discipled and trained by BMA missionaries or fellow ChangeMakers. These local leaders now continue the ministry in their own countries, embodying the model of “go, disciple, plant and repeat.”

This incredible global movement of faith is made possible by the support of the BMA family of churches. These churches enable BMA Global to partner with and support missionaries, ChangeMakers and church plants worldwide through generous giving, particularly to the Jerry Kidd Missions Offering.

To strengthen this ongoing effort, BMA Global is inviting churches to participate in World Missions Day — an annual opportunity to celebrate and support the transformative work being done across the globe. Churches are encouraged to:

• Pick a Sunday to celebrate World Missions Day. (Feb. 23 is the official day.)

• Register their church and order free promotional materials.

• Set a giving goal to support global missions.

• Dedicate part of their Sunday service to pray for missionaries and take up a special offering.

This year’s World Missions Day coincides with BMA Global’s 75^th anniversary, making it an especially meaningful occasion. To commemorate this milestone, the organization is offering several exciting resources to churches:

• Free promotional materials, including posters and bulletin inserts.

• Special 75^th-anniversary edition of the Gleaner magazine.

• A World Missions Day video showcasing how God is working around the world.

• A free BMA Global polo for every pastor.

• Specially designed T-shirts available for purchase.

By participating in World Missions Day, churches have a unique opportunity to amplify their impact, pray for missionaries and support the movement of ChangeMakers who are transforming lives and communities around the globe.
