Send Me: Europe

World Missions Day is quickly approaching, and as the BMA continues to celebrate all that God has done through BMA Global over the past 75 years, we focus this week on Europe.

BMA Global’s presence in Europe dates back to 1962 when Harold Morris became the first BMA missionary to serve in the region. After more than a decade of ministry in Brazil, Morris spent a year in France and Portugal, laying the groundwork for future missions in Europe.

Today, BMA Global has five missionary families planting churches in the region:

      • France — Sean and Kendall Pasley

      • Romania — Bryan & Pam Risner, Cristian & Vanessa Martinez, Candra Barnett and Sara Filimon.

Numerous ChangeMakers also serve throughout the region in Romania, Portugal, Czech Republic and Ukraine.

ChangeMakers in Ukraine face unique challenges serving during wartime. These challenges haven’t stopped the work there. Instead, the opportunities are endless.

Sasha Grebenyuk is one ChangeMaker who has served in Ukraine since well before the war began three years ago. In the last three years, five new churches have formed. The gospel is still reaching people, war or no war.

As a part of our World Missions Day celebration, we are excited to offer a free special anniversary edition of the Gleaner magazine. This edition features an overview of the history of our global work and a look at what’s happening now and our vision for the future.

We have so much to thank God for, and we hope you will join us for World Missions Day. Request your free Gleaner and learn how to get involved by visiting bmaglobal.org/worldmissionsday or emailing sidney@bmaglobal.org.
