SPOTLIGHT ON MISSIONS: Clinton & DeAnna Morris • Indianapolis, Ind.

I was supposed to be in Flynn, Texas over four weeks ago, but a rough case of the flu knocked me out. Thankfully, I made it there to speak at the church on Super Bowl Sunday. I had a great time with the people, and something unexpected happened. A visiting family showed up that day. I talked with the husband, a fellow gamer who is using his hobby to reach his friends with the gospel.

That conversation wouldn’t have happened if I had arrived when originally scheduled. While I wouldn’t have chosen to be sick, it’s incredible to see how God used the delay to make moments like this possible.

Upholstery

We sold our first piece of upholstery. We are excited to see the potential of this side hustle (tentmaking) when we move to Indianapolis.

Prayer Needs

• Please pray for two upcoming trips — Indianapolis for a board game convention called Paulcon and Orlando for Exponential (discussing church multiplication).

• We are looking for a house. Pray for right place, neighbors and the move.

• Our family dynamic during the upcoming move. This is always hard on DeAnna and me, as well as the kids.

• More financial partners, favor with the people in Indianapolis and that Satan would be prevented.

• Partnership Conversations.

Specific Prayers

I have been spending two to three hours in the evenings playing Minecraft and joining random voice chats through Discord. Quite a few teenagers are hanging out and just talking. It’s mostly about the game, but a few talk about their lives.

• Hernandezzoo needs prayer. His wife is having their child in the next month. They also have a six-year-old. They are in a very active Catholic community.

• ShadowWrath needs prayers. His story is long, but to summarize, he is 19 years old and has four weeks left to live. An illness has taken hold. His family was in disarray before, and he feels all alone. He has no religion. There are no Christians in his community (he lives in the USA). I shared the gospel and talked of a future. He is tired, in pain and in need of the Savior.
