SPOTLIGHT ON MISSIONS: Joshua & Meagan Phiri • Zambia

As the scorching heat of this year’s drought continues to affect many across the region, we have witnessed heartbreaking challenges in the villages we serve. But amid the dry, cracked earth and the struggle for survival, we have also seen incredible hope — and that hope is possible because of you!

         • A Lifeline of Water: Your Generosity at Work — Over the past few months, our water well drilling program has brought life-changing relief to the villages. Thanks to your generosity, we have drilled more than eight wells, providing life-sustaining water to thousands of people. These wells are not just a source of water but a source of hope. They empower the villages to grow their food, even during the drought.

Seeing green fields emerging from once-barren soil is nothing short of a miracle. Gardens are blossoming, crops are being harvested and families are regaining their dignity as they work together to feed their communities. This transformation is only possible because you believed in the mission and gave from your hearts.

         • Feeding the Hungry: A Community United in Compassion — Your support has been essential to the success of our feeding program, in addition to the water wells. When many have no access to adequate food, your donations have allowed us to distribute food supplies to those in desperate need. This relief is not just filling stomachs; it is lifting spirits and showing the people of these villages that they are not forgotten.

To all who have given, whether large or small, we want to say, “Thank you!” Your gifts have brought life, health and hope to those who need it most. Every dollar, every prayer and every kind word has made a difference.

         • The Journey Ahead: Continuing the Mission — While celebrating these victories, the work is far from over. The drought persists, and more villages need water wells and food supplies. Again, we call on you to help us continue this vital mission.

We believe that together, we can bring relief to even more villages, providing sustainable solutions that will empower communities to thrive, even in the most difficult of times.

How You Can Help

         • Give — Your donations are the backbone of this mission. Every gift, no matter the size, goes directly towards drilling more wells and providing food for the villages affected by drought.

         • Pray — Please continue to keep these communities in your prayers. Pray for rain, strength and the continued growth of the gardens now being tended to with such care.

         • Share — Help us spread the word by sharing our story with your friends, family and church communities. Together, we can multiply our impact.
