SPOTLIGHT ON MISSIONS: Joshua & Meagan Phiri • Zambia

It brings us immense joy to share some exciting news with you. In just a week or two, our family will be welcoming a precious new addition! As we eagerly await the arrival of our little one, we can’t help but draw parallels between this upcoming blessing and our ministry in Zambia. Just as a newborn represents the promise of a fresh start and new beginnings, our church is also experiencing a season of growth, renewal and transformation. Here’s how we see the beautiful connection:

• Anticipation and hope — Just as we eagerly anticipate the arrival of our baby, we are filled with hope for the future of our churches in Zambia. We believe that God has amazing plans in store for both our family and our Ministry.

• New life and renewal — The birth of a child is a symbol of new life, and in our churches, we are witnessing spiritual renewal and growth. We see new followers of Jesus, and we are excited to see how God is breathing new life into our ministry.

As we prepare for the arrival of our little one, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude for the love, support and prayers you have offered to our family and our ministry. We kindly request your prayers for a safe and healthy delivery, and for the continued growth and prosperity of our ministry. We believe this new chapter in our lives will only strengthen our commitment to serving God and our villages.

In the weeks to come, we look forward to introducing our newest family member to all of you. Until then, please keep us in your thoughts and prayers as we eagerly await this precious gift from God.
