Wife of Former La. Tech ABS Director Passes Away
Karan Orrick Eddy, 68 of Ruston, La., passed away on May 12. She was a member of Franklin Street Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. She served alongside her husband of 44 years, Danny, at the Association of Baptist Students at Louisiana Tech University.
Karan attended Southern Arkansas University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Education.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Michael (Ashley) Eddy and Jason (Amy) Eddy, a brother, Ronald Orrick, and six grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on May 16 at Franklin Street Baptist Church in Farmerville, La. A private burial for the family will occur at a later date in her hometown of Taylor, Arkansas.
