Arkansas Chaplain Promoted

By Dr. Scott Carson, Director • BMA Chaplaincy

BMA of America Chaplain Jeremy Miller was recently promoted to the rank of colonel within the Arkansas Army National Guard. His promotion makes him the highest-ranking Army chaplain within the Arkansas National Guard and elevates him to the Arkansas Joint Forces Headquarters Chaplain. His primary duties, among many, are providing senior executive supervision of all chaplains serving in the state’s National Guard, and he is the lead chaplain charged with the responsibility of advising the senior Arkansas Joint Forces commander and his staff regarding religious support for all their soldiers and family members, as well as Department of Defense employees. Chaplain (Colonel) Miller is currently working to complete a four-unit Clinical Pastoral Education program through the National Guard.
