Arkansas Galileans Hold Summer Meeting
By Anthony Hoke, Historian
The Arkansas Galileans had their summer meeting at Ponca Bible Camp July 28-30. We had our regular recreation time and Bible quiz competitions. The speaker, Luis Ortega, spoke to us about loving God with everything we have. Michael Powers served as our camp missionary and presented a report about a mission trip to Costa Rica that he served as a team member on this past summer.
On Saturday, we were able to play in the Buffalo River for a couple of hours. That night we hiked to a cave where we had our evening service.
Our next camp is our Fall Fellowship at Camp Beaverfork, just north of Conway, Dec. 1-2. As with all our events, all young men (even if you do not have a Galilean ministry in your church), ages 9-18, are invited to join us. We hope to see you there.
For more information on this camp or how your church can begin a Galilean ministry, please contact Arkansas Galilean Promoter Dan Williams at dwilltwelve@gmail.com or (501) 336-4586.
