CBC PROFILE: 2024 SOS Announced
Looking toward the 2024-25 school year, Central Baptist College is excited to announce our 2024 Student Orientation Staff (SOS). SOS is a group of students who work to make new students feel welcomed as they transition to life at CBC. New students face many challenges and questions. Whether these concerns are about registration, housing, finances or about personal identity and academic survival, SOS works to help walk alongside new students and answer these questions.
Student Activities Coordinator Blake Pittman leads the SOS. It is under his leadership that SOS works to plan and implement activities to help new students feel at home with the CBC family.
This year’s Senior Team Leaders are Grace Vandergriff and Abby Wilson. Grace and Abby will serve together as the club administrators and work alongside Blake to support the Team Leaders.
The Team Leaders are Audrey Johnson, David Platt, Josh Ramirez and Kailey Sullivan. These leaders will collaborate with their respective teams, guiding them in organizing and planning MUD (Mustangs Under Development) Week activities for the new students.
The 2024 SOS staff consists of the following students: Charity Barone, Rylie Brissette, Lily Brister, Eden Brister, Nadiyah Bunton, Ryan Carroll, Caleb Claiborne, Faith Grantham, Skylar Haden, Mary Grace Hall, Rebecca Hanry, Leilani Hanson, Kane Harrell, Kimbrow Harrell, Landon Hitchcock, William Kanaykin, Kara Keathley, Silas Kirchner, Jayla Kramer, Emma Love, Mallory Malone, Jesse McGarrah, Joy Murdock, Caroline Reams, Landon Risner, Lindsey Risner, Melody Risner, Sheridan Rogers, Abbie Rusher, Lily Seaver, Caroline Skinner, Natalie Smith, Olivia Solano, Trey Tippen, Heath Truett and Ashanti Williams.
SOS plays a crucial role in student orientation. We are thankful for them and excited to see the hard work and dedication that SOS will bring in the fall semester.
