CBC PROFILE: See You at SOAR 2023
Central Baptist College is sending our largest delegation yet to SOAR 2023, July 3-5 in Dallas, Texas! We can’t wait to show you what’s happening at CBC — there’s lots to share! Our prayer is that God will continue to impact our youth’s lives in a positive way.
This year, CBC isn’t giving away scholarships as we’ve done in the past because this year, every BMA student is eligible for a scholarship. CBC’s new “BMA Promise,” just launched for the fall 2023 semester, allows students who have been a member of a BMA church for one year or more, to attend CBC with no out-of-pocket tuition cost. This is an unprecedented move for CBC, and an intentional effort to work more closely with our BMA churches.
In addition to the BMA Promise, we will once again be giving away free t-shirts and selling CBC sweatshirts to students at our tables. We will have QR codes for students to scan and enter drawings for some fantastic prizes like tablets, portable speakers and gift cards as well.
Don’t forget to stop by our booth for a free photo in our tropical themed photo gallery. We’ll have props for you for photos that will be uploaded to our website so you can download at your convenience. There may even be a cameo and photo opp by the CBC mascot (shhhh! It’s a secret!).
For the first time in many years, we are bringing some of our academic faculty to answer questions and help students with information about different majors. We have bookmarks with information for each of the CBC departments, as well as a general handout with information on applying.
We’re looking forward to connecting with our churches and youth pastors (there are some drawings and treats for you as well!) and of course, the students!
We cannot wait to see you this year at SOAR!
