CBC SPORTS: Men's Soccer Opens Season

• North Little Rock, Aug. 26 — Opening the 2024 season at a new home stadium, CBC hosted the Eagles of Central Methodist (CMU) at the Burns Park soccer complex. CBC (0-1) trailed by a goal at halftime, but surrendered five to CMU (2-0) in the second half to drop the season opener 6-0. Jasper Gadellaa made three saves while playing all 90 minutes in net. CBC was able to create two chances on net, but the attempts by Billy Murray and Victor Alvarez were turned away. CBC heads to Jackson, Miss., on Aug. 30 for their road opener against the Millsaps Majors. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m.
