JOURNEY WITH JEFF: Wrapping Up Another Year
By the time many of you read this, our fiscal year (ending Aug. 31) will be concluded. That means we close the books and prepare for our annual audit. Allan does a great job keeping things in order to help make the process as easy as possible, but it is still a time-consuming task. We provide the auditor with any records they need upon request so they can ensure everything is in order. The audit report will be shared with the Publications Committee during our annual meeting in October and printed in the report book, which will be available at the BMA of Arkansas meeting in November.
Special Emphasis Update
As we wrap up the fiscal year, we are thankful for our faithful supporters — 43 individuals and churches — who contributed to helping us raise $30,712.20!
Allan and I are preparing to attend and represent the Trumpet ministry at the upcoming local association annual meetings. We believe strongly in our mission to inform and inspire our readers and think it is essential to help strengthen our association. Because of your faithful giving, we are able to continue this vital ministry that keeps the heartbeat of our association — missions (through all BMA ministries from the local to national) — at the forefront of our association.
The theme of our Special Emphasis this year — Your “Go-To” Source for BMA News and More! — focused on our goal to be where you go to find news and information about the BMA, both locally and around the world, and the Christian community. We strongly believe the best church member is an informed church member, and these funds help keep “your weekly BMA newspaper” going out every week (45 issues per year).
