United District WMA Meets

The United District WMA met Saturday, Jan. 14 at Grace Baptist Church in Russellville with about 20 in attendance. We formed a committee to bring back information on items for each church to send to the National WMA meeting. We elected new officers and voted for our new treasurer to open a bank account and get a tax ID number. We also chose our goal for the present and next meeting, the Daniel Springs Baptist Encampment. Our meeting concluded with a program by Diane Spriggs which, as always, was very good. We then had a great meal provided by the host church and a great time of fellowship.

Our next meeting will be on April 1 in Hattieville and then on the first Saturday of each quarter. (Note: the meeting date has changed from the second to the first Saturday of each quarter.)
