WORLD MISSIONS DAY: Send Me - Asia

By Margaret Anderson • BMA Global

With World Missions Day right around the corner, we have been reflecting on all that God has done through BMA Global since its inception.

BMA Global has been actively engaged in church planting in Asia since the early 1950s. Over the decades, the work has expanded from initial efforts in Taiwan and Japan to a broader presence throughout Asia, including more than 10 countries.

In China, the Johnsons are reaching a massive international community.

In Papua New Guinea, the Hambrice and Sanders families continue to teach and translate the Bible for the people in their village, and now these people have a heart to share the story of Jesus with those outside their village.

In the Himalayas, Jacob and Miriam are hosting Bible studies and are committed to sharing the gospel where it is not welcome.

In Thailand, the Yaebeangs are training up pastors, and the Lingles are planting a new church.

In India, the Prakashes continue investing in young people and leaders alike.

In the Philippines, the Lees are training future leaders and the Ballards are planting churches.

These are just our American missionaries in these countries. We also have ChangeMakers planting churches in Cambodia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Taiwan and Myanmar. They are discipling believers and growing the kingdom. We could not do what we do without our ChangeMakers.

And our missionaries and ChangeMakers could not do what they do without your support. World Missions Day is an opportunity for our BMA church family to rally around the purpose for which we exist — to fulfill the Great Commission.

Request resources and learn more about how you and your church can get involved in World Missions Day by visiting bmaglobal.org/worldmissionsday or emailing sidney@bmaglobal.org.

We would love to see more churches than ever join us this year in our celebration of 75 years of global missions!
